CX4 10Gb Cables

 10GBase-CX4 is an IEEE specification for 10 Gigabit over coaxial cable, intended to connect servers or switches over short distances of up to 50 feet.
Also referred to as 802.3ak, 10GBase-CX4 gets it's name as it is intended to run over CX4 cable, or 4 pairs of twinaxial copper, each pair transmitting 2.5Gbps providing a nominal data rate of 10Gbps.
Universal's CX4 ultra-high performance cables are manufactured by Amphenol and are available in lengths up to 15m. Standard connector type is the ejector style latch used for Infiniband SFF-8470.
All of our CX4 cables are RoHS 5 Compliant. |
